Founded in 1984 as a solo law practice, the Johnson Law Group is an operating law firm that represents clients in a wide range of civil and criminal matters. Ours is a law firm for the international development community. We maintain both transactional and litigation practices, and specialize in representing organizations and individuals working abroad. We provide advice on transactional issues such as teaming agreements, subcontracts, FAR compliance and contract implementation. For individuals, we understand the challenges of overseas employment, and work with clients on life planning issues related to stays outside the United States, including estate planning and employment contracts. In addition, the firm serves as class counsel in the landmark special education civil rights case of Petties v. District of Columbia, et al.
